    • Winter – December to February. Avg. Temp. 19 - 3° C
    • Spring – March to May. Avg. Temp. 27 - 14° C
    • Summer – June to August. Ave Temp. 29 - 20° C
    • Autumn – September to November. Ave. Temp. 25 - 15° C
    • What to wear

      Light weight clothes are recommended for May through October Warm garments are required in October – March.
      An umbrella or raincoat is a must for the rainy season (July/August).
       

      Visa Formalities

      Indian nationals do not require visas, however they require an identity card issued by Government of India.

      Free visas for all tourists who visit Nepal only for 3 days

      Free visas for tourists of SAARC countries and People’s Republic of China.

      Visa Fees for single entry is US$ 30 for 60 days and US$ 80 for multiple entry.

      Visa extensions are for a maximum period of 150 days in a Visa year (Jan – Dec).
